An Outdoor Movie Theater Under the Stars
An open farm field, a 30-by-50-foot screen and your own seat under the sky. Listen on FM 90.3 or our outdoor speakers, and one price covers the whole car.
Nobody shushes you
Talk during the movie. Laugh out loud. Let the baby fuss and the six-year-old ask what happens next. You're in your own car, and nobody turns around.
Your seat, your way
Truck bed, tailgate, lawn chair, or the front seat with the heat running. Bring your own blanket and as much room as you want to stretch out in.
The sky is the ceiling
Watch the light go down over the field, the stars come out, and the movie start when the sky says it's time. No indoor screen gives you that.
Snack Bar and Concession Stand
Popcorn, pizza and cold drinks right on the field
Our concession stand sits by the grain silo. Popcorn is $5, and refills are $3. Pizza comes in cheese or pepperoni, at $2 a slice or $16 for a whole pie. The Silo Combo gets you popcorn, candy and two drinks for $10.
We take cash and cards, and cards may carry a small fee. Outside food isn't allowed, so come hungry. Silo Cinema shirts, hats and hoodies are sold at the stand too.

A farm field, a silo and a big screen on Speedway Road
Silo Cinema sits on Parker's Farm at 1070 Speedway Road in North Wilkesboro. The grain silo we're named for stands by the concession stand, and there are cows grazing just beside the field. The screen is 30 by 50 feet, and the field has held more than 100 cars.
We built Silo Cinema to bring our community together. On show nights, neighbors park side by side, kids play in the field before the show, and the movie starts once night falls.

Want the big screen for your own group? We host private showings and events at Silo Cinema, and we're open to just about any idea you have. Call or email us for a quote at least two weeks ahead.
Bringing a van, a bus or a big group to a public movie night? Group rates are $5 per person. Just set it up with us by the Wednesday before the show.
